Work on Your Biz during Lunch

This isn’t ideal, but you gotta do what you gotta do, am I right? Using your 30 minutes, or 1-hour break will help you get ahead of the grind so that you aren’t using all of your time early in the mornings, or late at night. Think of it this way, taking advantage of pockets of time during the day will bring you one step closer to your successful business. Imagine yourself drowning in the work from your full-time job, and then its lunchtime, which means it’s time to work on your side biz. Your drive to create a better life for yourself will be fresh, and ready to create beautiful work that will bring you closer to the life you desire.

Work on Your Biz after You Leave Your 9-5

Again, this may not be ideal, but you are working for YOU! Your dreams are being conquered, so what better way to utilize your free time? Think about things that you would probably be doing when you came home from work, you don’t have to give those hobbies or activities up completely, but prioritize your time so that you can actively work on your business as well. You may have to give up things or create a new schedule that will help you live your life, but also get some work done!

Work on Your Biz during the Weekend

Set aside some free time that you have available on the weekends to put towards your business. You don’t have to be stuck inside the house either, take your laptop and head to the local coffee shop, pick a comfy spot at a park, or use a hotel space. Avoid Distractions

If you know that you will be distracted by family and friends trying to get a hold of you, it may be time to turn your phone on silent and leave it in your purse. Eliminating any temptations to check social media will also help you progress on your work. You don’t want to find yourself consumed in the latest drama on Facebook for 30 minutes, then realizing that precious time could have been used towards your business. Think about the things that distract you the most, and create surroundings that help you focus best. If noise bothers you, then maybe you need to find a space where you can’t hear people talking or the sounds of traffic outside. If you think better with music, turn on your favorite tunes that help you focus, and get some creative work done!

Prioritize Your Time to avoid feeling Burntout

It’s easy to work hard, and then feel burntout, especially when working a full-time job. When this happens it causes you to be less successful, and less progressive with your time spent working on your biz. You aren’t able to focus on the important tasks, or think creatively. Your brain will be on overdrive, and you won’t be able to produce your best work. In order to keep this from happening, remember that life is more than working, and you need to take care of yourself to ensure that you come back ready to work smarter, not harder! We live in a society that likes to overwork so we can be ahead of the game. How can you be productive if you are exhausted, body and soul? It’s perfectly okay to take a step back, visit your friends, family, or do something relaxing to recharge your brain. Doing so will help you come back to work ready to bring impressive progress to your biz!
